In 1996, a small group of South Asian women living in Fort Bend County founded Daya – a safe, confidential, and culturally specific organization tailored to support South Asian survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Twenty-five years later, the impact of Daya and its work in our community has changed lives and we honor this milestone with a very special evening, Daya Under the Stars! Daya remains steadfast in its mission to end intimate partner violence and committed to the community it serves. After an unprecedented year that saw an increase in domestic violence, we safely come together where it all began for an outdoor dinner and concert under the stars at Sugar Land's Constellation Field. On this, Daya's silver anniversary, join us in celebrating the entire Daya Family – the clients, donors, volunteers, staff, and supporters who, together, built a safer and stronger community for everyone.
We reach for the stars. Won't you join us?
