Lighting the Path to Healing

As we enter the season of gratitude and giving, we invite you to reflect on the power of light — the kind that breaks through darkness, brings warmth, and shows the way forward. Every day, survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community take their first courageous steps toward safety. For many, those steps begin with Daya. With cultural expertise in serving the South Asian community, Daya provides life-changing services to hundreds of survivors each year. In 2024 alone, we served 626 clients across Greater Houston.

But for every person we help, there are more who are still searching for that light. In the last decade, Daya’s client volume has nearly doubled. With decreasing state and federal funding and an increasing number of clients turning to Daya for services including safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, legal aid, housing assistance, and more, your contributions are more crucial than ever.

Support Daya with a Year-End Gift

This season, your generosity can light the path to healing for survivors in need. Daya’s End of Year Campaign aims to raise $150,000 by December 31st to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence on their journey toward safety and empowerment. We invite you to join us with a gift of $5,000, $2,500, $1,000, $500, $250, or any amount that is meaningful to you —every dollar makes a difference. And thanks to a very generous sponsor, the first $25,000 raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar!

When you give to Daya, you are not just making a donation — you are offering someone the light they need to move towards freedom. Together, we can ensure that every survivor finds their way toward safety, healing, and hope.
