Every day, survivors of domestic and sexual violence in our community take courageous steps toward safety and healing. For many, those steps begin with Daya. Rooted in cultural expertise and a deep commitment to serving the South Asian community, Daya provides life-changing, survivor-centered services to hundreds of individuals and families across Greater Houston each year.

Over the past decade, Daya’s client volume has nearly doubled. As state and federal funding continues to decline and more survivors turn to Daya for support, the need for community investment has never been greater. Survivors rely on Daya for critical services including safety planning, crisis intervention, case management, legal advocacy, housing assistance, and more—services that remain free and accessible because of donor support.

Your generosity helps ensure that survivors are never turned away and can access the support they need, when they need it most. Contributions to Daya directly sustain essential programs that empower survivors on their journeys toward safety, stability, and self-determination. Whether through a one-time gift or ongoing support, every dollar makes a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

When you give to Daya, you are not just making a donation — you are offering someone the light they need to move towards freedom. Together, we can ensure that every survivor finds their way toward safety, healing, and hope.
