Thank You Graduates

Recently, we were so touched by the generous support from four recent high school graduates and their Assamese community in Houston. These four young people wanted to give back to an organization they thought made a positive impact in their community. At their celebration lunch, the graduates highlighted Daya's mission and services. In lieu of gifts, they asked their family and friends to consider giving a monetary gift that would be donated to Daya. When one of the graduates came by the Daya office to deliver the donation, they also presented us a traditional Assamese scarf that denotes respect. This thoughtful and generous gesture means so much to us! Thank you graduates! We wish you all the best as you continue your education and change the world.
